The HKI 305 radar-ultrasonic integrated flow meter is an in-house online flow instrument for urban storm/sewage networks and river outfalls. It combines radar and ultrasonic gauging for full and partial pipe, mounts at the pipe crown, and needs little O&M in harsh network conditions.
Dual-wave radar plus ultrasonic, automatic full/partial-pipe switching, measured from the pipe crown — no confined-space entry, ultra-low power, a corrosion- and impact-resistant housing, and little O&M.
UsesRadar + ultrasonic dual-wave flow mode, auto-switches modes for full and partial pipe.
The sensor mounts at the pipe crown, Reduces silt and debris effects on the instrument.
No confined-space entry, Much safer for people and equipment Easy later O&M.
Compact and easy to install, Fits network installs sites, flexible placement.
Ultra-low-power design, Suited to long use in unpowered pits.
High ingress protection, Class 10 corrosion resistance, with a corrosion-, acid/alkali-, and impact-resistant housing for long use in sewage networks.
Urban storm/sewage mains, river outfalls, and sewage networks — full and partial pipe, top mount, and long online life even without pit power.
Radar, ultrasonic, and hydrostatic pressure — four measurement channels in one unit, with automatic full/partial-pipe switching. Switch tabs for range, resolution, accuracy, and beam/frequency.
Radar and ultrasonic waves work together. The unit judges pipe fill and switches modes: velocity and level in partial pipe, a seamless handoff when full. An embedded model outputs flow over Modbus-RTU to the network platform.
