The HKI 202 radar level meter is an in-house non-contact water and material level instrument for rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and treatment-plant support. It works in the 80/120 GHz ISM band with FMCW modulation for all-weather level readings, unaffected by climate, temperature, surface vapor, or contaminants in the water. Built-in processing keeps the measurement precise.
FMCW millimeter-wave, non-contact measurement with a 3° narrow beam for deep, narrow shafts. Immune to climate, humidity, vapor, and contaminants. Range up to 20 m, ±2 mm accuracy, no manhole entry, easy install, ultra-low power for long-term online use.
Compact housing, Effective range up to 20 m, fits many mounting sites.
Beam angle only 3°, well suited to drainage manholes, wells, and other narrow spaces.
Non-contact radar measurement, Cuts interference from harsh water and keeps maintenance low.
Works in all weather, Unaffected by temperature or humidity with strong immunity.
Combines measure and sleep modes, Lower energy use suited to long deployments.
Integrated, compact design, Raises stability, reliability, and accuracy.
Fast to install, little civil work, No confined-space entry, easy to remove.
IP68 protection (1 m water depth, 24 hours), suited to field sites.
Several interface options, Easy to connect to a platform Flexible networking.
From rivers, lakes, and reservoirs to drainage manholes, narrow wells, treatment support, and field hydrology — install and measure, with little maintenance.
The probe sits above the water and measures without contact. FMCW millimeter-wave echoes return from the surface; onboard algorithms compute level and trend. Measure/sleep cycling saves power, and RS-485 / Modbus feeds the platform.
